Gowrings of Reading Limited t/as Gowrings Ford of – in Administration

Steve Absolom and Will Wright were appointed Joint Administrators of Gowrings of Reading Limited t/as Gowrings Ford of Reading – in Administration (the ‘Company’) on 21 September 2016.

The administration has come to an end. For further information, including the exit route from the administration, please refer to the final progress report.

Please see the information below regarding services, warranties, service plans and vehicle deposits.

The Companies are no longer trading, therefore if you have booked a service you will need to find a different dealer to service your vehicle.

Due to the number of different service plans, the administrators are unable to confirm the validity of your warranty or service plan. Please contact either the warranty/service plan provider or manufacturer for confirmation. If you are not covered, you may have an unsecured claim against the company; in which case, please advise us of the details of the amounts you are owed by completing a proof of debt form  and submit this together with copies of your warranty documents to Interpath Advisory One Snowhill, Snow Hill Queensway, Birmingham B4 6GH.

If you have paid a deposit for a new vehicle, the Company is unable to directly refund this deposit. However, our understanding is that the manufacturers are very keen to try and help customers in this situation and are in the process of contacting all such customers. If you are yet to receive contact from the manufacturer, you may wish to consider contacting them directly. If you have paid a deposit on credit card you may be able to recover your deposit from your merchant provider.
