What will happen to my client file?

To ensure continuity of service to you, we are pleased to inform you that all client files will be transferring to another regulated law firm, Axiom DWFM Limited (SRA ID: 628201) ("Axiom Ince") as detailed in the correspondence you will have received from Plexus Legal LLP or Plexus North LLP, together with your dedicated case handler in accordance with clients’ instructions.

Axiom Ince will also be in direct contact with you, by phone, email or other messaging system as you may prefer, so as to take your full instructions.

Can I instruct another solicitor?

Yes of course, you may instruct any solicitor of your choice.

Please just let your dedicated case handler know that you would like to instruct another law firm and they will immediately make arrangements for the safe transfer of your file, together with any other valuable documents that may have been held for you in their secure storage and any client funds that may be being safely held on your behalf, to any other law firm of your choice.

Your dedicated case handler will be in touch with you direct to take your full instructions.

What will happen to my wills, deeds or other valuable documents?

We are pleased to let you know that all Wills and Deeds and other valuable documents are being safely transferred in accordance with clients’ instructions as part of the sale of Plexus Legal LLP and Plexus North LLP to SRA regulated law firm Axiom.

Should you wish to retrieve any of your valuable documents or instruct any other firm to hold these documents on your behalf, please get in touch with your case handler and they will be happy to assist you and arrange for the secure transfer of these documents either back to you or to any other solicitor of your choosing.

What will happen to my closed client file?

We are pleased to let you know that all closed and archived files will be safely retained in the secure archive of Axiom.

Should you wish to retrieve your archived client files please get in touch with your usual dedicated case handler.

What will happen to any client money owed to me?

Axiom is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. All client monies securely held in a regulated law firms’ client account are not affected by the administration.

Subject to your instructions, all client monies will be securely transferred with your file to your chosen solicitors’ firm's client account and to be allocated to your individual matter.

Dedicated Solictor Manager

The Joint Administrators have also appointed Samantha Palmer of Pinsent Masons LLP as the Solicitor Manager whose role also includes oversight of the secure transfer of client files, valuable client documents and client monies in accordance with clients’ instructions. The Solicitor Manager is also appointed to help any clients’ queries and fully report on the progress of the compliant closure of Plexus Legal LLP to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Plexus North LLP to Law Society Scotland.

We also have a dedicated Solicitor Manager inbox so as to be able to assist you with any other client enquiries. Your dedicated case handler will be in touch with you direct to obtain your instructions in relation to your matter and the next steps in your matter.

How to submit a claim

If you have amounts due to you from the Company as at the date of appointment, you can register a claim by completing a proof of debt form.

Please send your completed proof of debt form, together with supporting documentation, by email to the case contact or by post to:

Supporting documentation for your claim includes invoices, statements of account, proofs of delivery, contracts or any other relevant information.
